Getting ready – If I listen carefully I can hear a lot of hoovering and sweeping going on across Perthshire as artists prepare to open their studios from 31st August to 8th September – details at https://perthshireopenstudios.com or in the brochure. I hope to have the tidying up done and be welcoming visitors. I am up on Errichel Farm – pop in and see how I make and create.

We will be at The Yard Perth for their Sunday Market on 27th March. We will have vintage kitchenalia, a classy women's white shirt extravaganza, and raising money for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine appeal = 50% of profits.

New blog on the benefits of doing Open Studios

This is the wonderful Glenys Andrews, the chair of Perthshire Open Studios, visiting studios in and around Aberfeldy yesterday (including my own at venue 121 up at Errichel Cottages) Without her and her team of volunteers, the creative parts of the community would not have this open studios event. It's been a great week for me – my first time, with lots of visitors and sales. Aberfeldy (and all of Perth and Kinross) has an amazing number of creative people which all adds to the community's health. Thank you Glenys!
