On Saturday we held our annual summer day out! ☀️

The morning started off with a tour at Mains of Thornton, Oldmeldrum KPO Cooper family. We thoroughly enjoyed having a tour of the farm which included a roundhouse and machinery robots! 🚜🐮

We enjoyed lunch at the Drouthy Laird, Inverurie before heading down the road to AngusALIVE Aqua Splash Park at Monikie Country Park for the afternoon 💦

In the evening we headed to Miller Plant Ltd who kindly hosted a BBQ to round off the day 🍔🌭

A day full of fun and laughter 🤩

What a weekend 🤩

Started off on Friday with the Echt Young Farmers Anniversary Committee’s Ladies Day - to raise funds for our 100th anniversary next year! What an amazing day filled with lots of ladies, laughter and prosecco! 🥂

On Saturday we held an Echt Young Farmers stand for the first time in 7 years!
Congratulations to Elizabeth Shepherd who had the closest guess to 447 balloons in the tractor 🎈Congratulations to Caitlin Hunter who guessed the teddy bears birthday 15th of March 🐻🎉

🤩Grampian Rally 2026 🤩

On Saturday the club headed down to the Grampian Rally held in Fettercairn!

The day started off great placing 1st in the construction with a picnic bench built by Bruce & Ryan ⚒️🪵

The industrial displays did exceptionally well, placing:

4th ‘Apres Ski’

Our Tug o war ladies team placed 4th in a tough competition 💪🏼

Well done to our junior & senior ropemaking teams both placing 3rd in the district rally eliminations! 🥉
