After an incredible 14 months, the time has come for us to say goodbye.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Gilcomston Bar will be closing its doors, with our final trading day being Sunday, 12th July 2026. As the building has been put up for sale by the owner, we’ve made the difficult decision to close.

We can’t thank our amazing customers enough for the support, laughter, friendships, and unforgettable memories you’ve given us over the past 14 months. You’ve made Gilcomston Bar so much more than just a pub—you’ve made it a community, and for that we’ll be forever grateful.

A huge thank you also goes to all of our entertainment team, singers, musicians, DJs, and performers who have worked so hard to keep the atmosphere alive and make every event so special. Your talent, dedication, and energy have played a massive part in creating the memories we’ve all shared.

Now it’s time to give Gilcomston the send-off it deserves! Join us for one final weekend as we celebrate all the good times together.

Our final Sunday Funday promises to be our biggest and best yet, with reduced prices on food and drinks all day. Let’s raise a glass, share a laugh, and make a few more memories before we close our doors for the last time.

Thank you to every single person who has walked through our doors, supported us, entertained us, and been part of our journey. We couldn’t have done it without you.
