Drummers of Captain Toms! We love you all and work hard everyday to keep our kits in decent condition for you.

We’ve been letting the side down a little with the quality of our drum stools recently… so today we’re super happy to bring in 4 new Yamaha DS840 thrones and some new tom arms so we can keep giving you the best drumming experience possible!

AMW26 is thrilled to Announce Captain Toms as a Featured Artist for Day 3 of AMW26: Amplify Aberdeen Documentary - The Scene. The Story. The Sound.

Since opening Captain Toms Music Studio in 1997, Tom Simmonds has played a leading role in Aberdeen’s diverse and independent music scene.

From launching his own independent record label, Fat Hippy Records, in 2002, to promoting hundreds of events across Aberdeen and Scotland, Tom has spent decades creating opportunities for artists and bringing music to audiences.

He has also helped local artists take their music beyond Aberdeen, touring across Europe and as far as Los Angeles, while supporting them in reaching audiences around the world.

We’ve had great fun working with Finn Moray, The Algiers, Terry McDermott and the Aberdeen FC community trust over the last few weeks!

They’ve very kindly given us some guest list spaces for the gig at OGV Podium tonight so if any Captain Toms regulars would like to come to the show just DM us and we’ll get you on the list!

We couldn't be prouder to be performing this show in aid of both the Aberdeen FC Community Trust and the Paul Lawrie Foundation in association with Finn Moray. As is well documented Terry and Innes are both massive Aberdeen FC fans and Brentt and Justin's conversion to all things Red is well under way.

Please join us for a special evening where we'll be playing 'Two Stars', a Finn Moray song that echoes our love for AFC and will be joined by special guests The Dead Shadows.
