Just a wee reminder that we’re having a PARTY THIS weekend at the main Aberdeen city cafe, beach hut and at the cafe out in the car park. 🎉

We’re celebrating 10 years of Foodstory. EVERYONE welcome. Kids too.

Saturday:

+ Decks at the Beach .hut 10-4pm. A mix of local DJS at the beach as well as the SURF competition and Ireland playing South Africa in the rugby World Cup (mini screen) 🙌.

+ A local food and craft market 10-4pm upstairs with playing live music

+ Live Local band downstairs at 7pm.

+ Roots catering truck outside from 7pm.

+ A bar outside and upstairs. Serving local craft beer and organic natural wines!

+ DJ Vardi playing Latin, Cuban, Dancehall beats from 7-11pm.

Sunday:

+ An ALL DAY pancake party!

+ A CAR PARK party. Outside with DJS: from 12-5pm.

+ BBQ, loaded nachos and a Bar from 12-5pm out of our catering truck. Serving organic natural wines and local craft beer

*cafes open as normal except the Edinburgh one will be closed on Sunday so our Edinburgh team can dance with us 🙌

Do you love to DANCE? Or do you love to chill and listen to good music and play table tennis or pool and snack on popcorn and try some local craft beers and meet new people. The nights we run are all about creating a space to chill out, still go out but in a cafe environment (not a club) so you can even have a cuppa tea and rock up in comfy clothes. THIS SATURDAY night the 6th- we’ve got playing Afrobeat, Caribbean, African beats. We’ll be opening our bar and pool/table tennis area. Just a few tickets left. See link in bio. Starts at 7pm until 11pm. Over 16’s. Maybe see you there!

We’ve SOLD OUT tonight but there may be tickets on the door as some people can’t make it! There is a BAR (not BYOB) and NEW .scene T SHIRTS for sale. 🥳🙌 See you soon 💛! Event is above Foodstory and the cafe closes at 6pm so if you’d like food please come before 6. Expect floor-shaking afrobeat, hip-swaying salsa, dancefloor funk to brassy ska, bouncy reggae, tropical cumbia, and Caribbean island sounds with all the brassy bits in the middle. 💃
