The goal of Wee Crafty Bees is to support and guide children between 5-12 years old in exploring their own creativity and imagination through the use of different 2D and 3D materials in a relaxed friendly environment. Every child is unique and even when given the same theme to work on, the results of each can be completely different. Our lessons aim to give children the confidence to work with dif
ferent media and enable them to find a way of expressing themselves freely through creativity. Encouraging the trial of new things and using their own initiative, building self-confidence. It is a fun way to learn new skills and techniques whilst making new friends. Classes run in small groups allowing children to be themselves with a maximum of 10 children per session. Materials are provided. All pieces of work will be taken home when finished. We will work with a wide range of materials acrylic paint, oil pastels, graphite pencils, charcoal, watercolour, clay, fabric paint, felting, glass paints, decoupage, canvases, recycled art, techniques such as sketching and blending and many more.
