2023 where the f**k did you come from!!!

Happy new year, what happened to 2022? I honestly feel like it went January, February, March, August, December!

I'm not ready for a new year, I'm not ready to do the work I parked at the end of last year, I'm not ready to accept my child will turn 5 soon... IM JUST NOT READY!

So, whilst I pretend that I'm going to:
1. Restart a content calendar to be consistent on the app and promote my business
2. Build a website to move from Etsy
3. Share more information and knowledge

Please be patient with me ☺️, I'm here, I'll find my feet and I'll be wrapping glass, collecting beach goodies and making new things to share with you

Cosy night in 🕯️💆‍♀️

If you're a candle lover (me🙋🏻‍♀️ too) then you'll definitely have a few tea lights kicking about, now all you need is a unique, handcrafted sea glass surround to really make that candle light glow

Each surround is made by me; handpicked glass from Aberdeen beaches, individually copper foil wrapped and soldered and then built by my own fair hand!

I'm not mailing any more before Christmas but I'm taking orders for next year! Get in touch 🌊💙❄️

After a busy weekend I took this morning off for a quick beach walk and reset. It was bloody freezing but I stayed out for about 2 hours and found some lovely stuff!

A huge battered chunk of glass, frosted but chipped by its journey along the sea bed.

A lovely cobalt blue piece, not perfectly smooth but if I see blue, I'm collecting it!

A nice wee green seafoam bean, they really are simply gorgeous

And finally, something I've never had, a wee ceramic head!

How mad the things to be found! 💙🌊

⚪ 🔵 Circles from the sea

Everything shown in this piece is collected from Aberdeen beach. Amongst the mussel shells there are some common winkles, some purple top shells and the inner skeleton of a dog whelk 🐚 all very common to Scottish coastlines. All shells were empty before being collected so their inhabitants had already found new homes. 🏠

Oooosh, 2 posts in one day!

Couldn't not post it, this has brung me much joy, a beautiful recycled wood tray which I have filled with my beach treasures, how nice does this look!

This lovely thing I purchased today from during an impromptu visit to the shops. Along with a beautiful glass vase, which I excitedly found in the sale section, it was meant for me to have it! I'll post in my story once I've cleaned the place up ✨
