The Scottish Mega Drive Championships We are a biannual Mega Drive championship. We are actively seeking more members who want to prove that they are Scotland’s greatest 16-bit warrior!

The Scottish Mega Drive Championships are designed to be a series of competitions based exclusively on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. Though established in 2017, The Scottish Mega Drive Championships fall under the larger umbrella of The Mega Drive Championships (www.megadrivechamps.org) which were founded south of the border in Nottingham and which have been running since 2001. The Mega Drive world rankings have been updated, and 2 guys from Scotland, are in the top 25.

Gaz has fell 5 places from 16th to 21st, and Ross has climbed 8 places from 30th to 22nd.

The rankings (championships) have been going strong for 17 years (some of the top 25 guys have been playing from day one) and long may they continue!

Will we see more Scots in the top 25, next year?
