Dance: Compete: Achieve is a dance and performing arts competition being held in Aberdeen, Scotland in Feb 2016. Aimed at all level of performers with a large variety of categories there really is something for everyone to compete in. Our aim is to celebrate dance, performers and their performances and motivate dancers to continue on their personal dance journey. Internationally renowned judges will be in attendance making this an event not to be missed.

Just a helpful reminder …. As our venue is a theatre we have to scan in everyone.

So pre purchase the tickets on the link in the parents event guide and have them ready to be scanned at the door and say your dance school. Buying your ticket at the door takes longer and holds up the queue a little.

This will help speed up the door registration process especially on a rainy day !!!

Good luck to all those competing, all dance school entered, the event organisers, the venue and of course the judges! Ha...

GRACE WALKER

Grace has been a dancer since the age of 2 and in 2015 she was awarded a scholarship to Bodywork Company to start her professional dance training. Grace went on to achieve her level 6 diploma in Musical Theatre before becoming a professional dancer/ performer.

Grace has been a professional now for over 6 years and has starred in multiple different West End credited shows in the UK and abroad.

At age 15 Grace achieved her teacher’s qualification (Associate diploma) in Ballet, Tap and Modern dance with the BATD association, and has recently gone on to achieve her Membership qualification. She has been teaching all genres of dance for over 9 years now at multiple UK colleges and dance schools. Grace also is an adjudicator for competitions and festivals across the UK.
