A Community, and a Lifestyle
 
During our student photoshoot we got some time to sit down with one of our members, Samana. As a PhD student, Samana’s time is valuable, but being a member at ASV lets her take a break from her studies at times that work best for her. Not only has she created a community here, but she’s added it into her lifestyle.
 
Our student membership was created to compliment your studies. We want ASV to be your place to recharge and destress during such a busy time.

Glad we could play a small part in the Tour de Fitba journey 💪

Great to have the team training at ASV ahead of their 260-mile tandem bike challenge for such an important cause. Good luck for the challenge!

The lads were put through their paces at Aberdeen Sports Village last night and we were joined by some very special guests - but more on that later! Thanks so much to the lovely ASV team for having us. Amazing facilities!

Football, swimming, athletics, dry dive, netball, pickleball and more!

Five days of sport, fun and something different every day.

For kids from P1–S3 (up to 14 years 11 months), our camps are £165 per week – that’s just £33 a day.

Running 12–16 and 19–23 October. Whether they’re coming back for another Sports Camp or joining us for the first time, get them booked in!

A new sport to discover 🏉

Our free Pre-School Rugby sessions give 3–5 year olds a first introduction to rugby through games, movement and getting familiar with a rugby ball.

Running Mondays from 7th September – 5th October and completely free thanks to funding from sportscotland’s Summer of Sport and Scottish Rugby.

Earlier this year we had some of our amazing students’ members in to take some photos ahead of this year’s Welcome Week. Today we wanted to give you a sneak peek of some of the photos we got on the day ahead of their release in September.

Their first introduction to rugby starts here! 🏉

Running, moving, exploring and getting to know a rugby ball - our free Pre-School Rugby block gives 3–5 year olds the chance to discover the sport through play.

Across five weekly sessions, we’ll keep things simple and active, with games and familiarisation activities designed to build confidence and let little ones learn at their own pace.

📅 Mondays, 7 September – 5 October

Thanks to funding from Sportscotland and Scottish Rugby, there’s no cost to take part.

Two weeks ago, we welcomed Walking Netball clubs from across the region to ASV for our All In Walking Netball Festival 🏐

In partnership with Netball Scotland, our ASV team were joined by Turra Tornadoes, Garioch, Jesmond and Ellon for an afternoon of fixtures, plenty of laughs and a great atmosphere throughout.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, and to our brilliant volunteer Caroline Walker for everything she does for Walking Netball at ASV.

A special thank you to The National Lottery for supporting the event through the All In programme, helping us create more opportunities for people to get active, take part in sport and come together in our community. 💙
