Looking for extra support or a confidence boost for your child in the pool this summer? 🏊

We're offering one-to-one swimming lessons for children aged 3–15. These personalised sessions are tailored to each swimmer's individual needs and can help with:

• Building confidence in the water
• Improving swimming technique and strokes
• Progressing to the next Learn to Swim level

It's just £24.95 per lesson and spaces are available throughout the summer holidays.

As part of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games All In programme, we're offering a range of free family sessions throughout July and August.

Try pickleball, badminton, squash, swimming and more. There's something for everyone this summer.

World records. European records. British records. And a hometown triumph.

Our Aquatics Centre welcomed hundreds of swimmers from across the UK and beyond for the 2026 British Masters Swimming Championships.

Among the highlights were Audrey Cooper's European record for Silver City Blues, a world record from 95-year-old Jane Asher, and Silver City Blues securing the Cupar Trophy on home water.

It was a memorable weekend that celebrated competition, friendship and a lifelong love of swimming.

Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to the officials, volunteers, staff and supporters who helped make the event such a success.

This week, ASV is supporting Drowning Prevention Week, a national campaign led by the Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK to raise awareness of water safety and help prevent accidental drownings.

Our Learn to Swim team will be taking part in water safety activities throughout the week. Plus, if you're visiting ASV, look out for our water safety information table in the Aquatics Centre, where you can pick up free resources and learn more about staying safe around water.

Together, we can help spread vital water safety messages and play our part in preventing drowning.

Operational Update

We're proud to be hosting the British Masters Swimming Championships from 12–14 June 2026, marking the event's return to Scotland for the first time since 2022.

Please note that our Aquatics Centre will be closed to the public 12–14 June while the event takes place. During this period:

• No public swimming sessions will be available
• The health suite (sauna and steam room) will be closed
• Learn to Swim and Learn to Dive sessions will not take place

If you're visiting other areas of ASV during the event, please be aware that the venue and surrounding areas will be busier than usual, and our car parks are expected to be busy throughout the weekend. Please allow extra time for parking and accessing the facility.

The Aquatics Centre will reopen as normal on Monday 15 June.

For the latest updates, please check the ASV app, booking system and website before travelling.
