Classes are in Classical Ballet, Modern, Tap, Hip Hop and Contemporary. Danscentre provide SQA qualifications in Higher Dance and National 5 Dance as well as RAD and ISTD Examinations. We can also provide teacher training in both Classical Ballet and ISTD Modern Theatre. We hold classes in the following locations;
Hutcheon Street (main hub), Cults, Craigiebuckler, Peterculter, Kingswells and Westhill.

Huge congratulations to our dancers who took part in their Advanced 1, Grade 7 and Grade 5 RAD Ballet exams this past week. It’s been a busy term, with many of these students balancing exam preparation alongside school QS exams, Senior Review rehearsals and last weekend’s performances 1 all of which they took in their stride! ✨

A big good luck as well to the students taking part in exams this week, who have also been working incredibly hard whilst juggling school exams, rehearsals and performances.

All of us teachers at DC are so proud of your hard work, determination and achievements! 💥🙌🏼

Our Preschool Demonstrations were a wonderful way to celebrate everything our tiny dancers have been learning in class. We were delighted to welcome family and friends to watch their performances and celebrate their achievements.🥳

A special congratulations to our preschool pupils who will be moving up to primary classes after the summer. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and we can’t wait to see them continue their dance journey with us. To make the occasion even more memorable, they were treated to a special performance from some of our senior pupils, a lovely inspiration as they take their next steps at Danscentre ✨

Thank you to all of our dancers, teachers, staff, families, and volunteers for making this year’s Senior Review so memorable. We’re incredibly proud of our dancers and all they have accomplished 🩵

All of us here at DC are cheering Scotland on ahead of their opening game in their first World Cup appearance since France ’98! ⚽️

Our Boys Hip Hop will be getting the crowd going at our Senior Review this evening, and our Kingswells students had a brilliant morning celebrating in true Scottish style with a ceilidh! 💙✨

The wait is finally over! 💥

Tonight we kick off our Senior Review performances at RGC and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with our audiences!

After an amazing dress rehearsal last night, the excitement is building and the cast are more than ready to take to the stage ⭐️

We are so proud of every student involved and can’t wait for them to showcase all of their dedication, talent and commitment over the coming performances.
