Join our performing community, board and staff as they unleash the world's unlikeliest talents on an unsuspecting audience - with all proceeds going to the Save Aberdeen Arts Centre campaign.

Are you ready to ROCK? Bridge of Don Academy bring their explosive summer show to Aberdeen Arts Centre for three nights... starting tonight!

This is a high‑energy musical that follows a down‑on‑his‑luck guitarist who impersonates a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. Determined to prove himself and revive his own stalled career, he transforms his class into a rock band, teaching them about self‑expression, teamwork, and the power of music. Along the way, the students gain confidence, challenge strict school expectations, and learn to trust their own voices.

The story blends big rock anthems, humour, and heartfelt moments, ultimately celebrating creativity, empowerment, and the joy of performing!

Our game-for-a-laugh participants have all been given their untalents to learn... well, all apart from one. Because our programmer Philip will be given an unconventional skill on the night and have just under an hour to perfect it before stepping on stage!
