ARRIVING AT THE SHOW:

The best entrance to the theatre is from the NESCOL's Loch Street entrance. Through the doors shown below you will see the reception area and from there turn left and go down the stairs to the basement. There will be signs showing the way.

If you need any assistance in finding the building or theatre please contact this page and someone will come and find you.

There is lots of on street parking around the college, as well as Bon Accord Lock street car park and the ar park at Gallowgate.

Show week has finally arrived!

We have a fab day yesterday rehearsing at NESCOL in the Basement Theatre! Not only did we have a run through with our amazing band, we were also able to start building out set.

The journey of the Lift takes one minute (or thereabouts) but the journey of the show takes us through a minute within everyone's imagination, allowing us to say and see things that might not be possible in real life.

LIFT the musical crystallises around the lives of eight everyday protagonists who chance to ride in the same elevator at Covent Garden tube station. In the 54 seconds of the lift's passage, we are taken on a much longer journey that reveals the people behind the masks they wear, the secrets they dare not to speak, and the unrealised connections between them. Seen through the eyes of the ubiquitous London underground Busker, the emerging narratives can be a little overwhelming at times for their complexity; but the end result presents a rich snapshot of the reality of the anonymity of modern life in all its technologically-enabled glory.
