90 days until 23 young dancers from locally based Sharon Gill Dance Academy representing Aberdeen Cheer and Dance Company, travel to Orlando, Florida to take part in the Allstar Worlds to compete with the best in the World!
Having won their qualification bids at the iconic Tower Ballroom in Blackpool, these talented young ladies, some as young as 10, have been fundraising so hard to help them achieve their dream on the Worlds Stage.
We are still looking for local companies to sponsor us on our journey.
Businesses or individuals will see us promote and advertise your company/yourself on all of our social media platforms leading up to and including our time in the USA, we have over 2000 followers that we can get the word out to regarding your business however you wish.

Busy start to our week with our 'me and my shadow' parent/guardian and toddler class from 18 months.

Teaching balance, control, co-ordination etc with use of props, equipment and imagination.

Good morning!
Our office is now open for new enrolements!
Due to some of our youngest students moving up to our pre school classes, we now have spaces in our
"Me and my shadow" classes which are from 18 months for both girls and boys.

These classes are designed to develop physical co-ordination and development as well as cognative and social skills all wrapped up in a fun dance class with use of equipment, props, music, dance and a whole lot of imagination and fun.

For toddlers, dance is a fundamental form of expression, communication, and play that provides a foundation for their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. It is an activity that goes beyond just learning steps, helping them to navigate and understand the world around them.

Benefits of Dance for Toddlers
Physical Development: Dance is a fun, full-body workout that builds gross and fine motor skills, balance, co-ordination, strength, and spatial awareness. Movements like jumping, spinning, and running help develop strong muscles and bones, contributing to overall physical fitness.
Emotional Expression: Toddlers often lack the words but can express through dance.

We can provide this is a safe space where Mum, Dad or guardian come too to provide that comfort blanket of a familiar face to assure them as they explore their surroundings and find their feet.

ALSO LAUNCHING THIS WEEK:
Our brand new "cheer tots" classes.
A programme introducing cheerleading for children up to 5yrs which will then develop and progress onto our mini age classes.
We are the only licenced/certified school in Aberdeen for the cheer tots programme.
