Good day!
As you may know The Friends of Memorial Hall help to raise funds for capital projects/items which keep our Hall in the best condition for our community. It only costs £10 to become a “Friend” and that in itself is a valuable gift. Friends also receive regular updates on forthcoming events,and a small discount on some events.
If you or any members of your family and/or friends would like to join you would be most welcome. There are forms available at the hall or by contacting our membership secretary Jan Whittaker via:

Alternatively you are welcome to make a cash or cheque payment, just put it in an envelope labelled FOMH Membership, (please include your name and full contact details) and either hand in to the Hall or leave it in the mailbox in the outer foyer.

May I also take this opportunity to inform current members of our AGM. This will be held on Monday 9th February at 14:30 in the Committee Room at the Memorial Hall.

All Members are very welcome, if you have any issues you would like to raise please inform us by emailing the membership secretary at least 5 days prior to the AGM.

Finally we would love to welcome any new or existing members onto our committee. Our meetings are fairly informal, always involve tea/coffee cake/biscuits along with friendly chat and a bit of humour.We are always looking for new ideas so if you would like to join us you would be warmly welcomed and much appreciated,just let us know!

“December saw the end of a wonderful year of Centenary celebrations and events for Aberaeron Memorial Hall. At the Centenary Ball auction the Friends of Memorial Hall made a successful bid for a cycling shirt ( one of several items ) generously donated by local cycling World Champion Josh Tarling which raised valuable funds for the Hall. We felt it important to have this on show in the Hall to inspire our many local young people who regularly use the community Hall for all sorts of clubs and classes.
As Josh and his brother Fin are busy training in Andorra their parents Mike and Dawn Tarling kindly agreed to come and formally present the framed shirt to the Hall.”
