"We won't play at Zxxrxx.
We, Sinoque, Busta Flem, Siwak and Tosh are french rappers currently on a German tour, to share our music and gather money for No Borders struggles, wich we are involved in.
We have a message of solidarity towards Palestinian people, against all opressions like colonialism, antisemitism, imperialism, islamophobia and many other s**t that make the society we live in rotten.
We are antifascists and will always stand against far right governments, ethnical cleansing and genocide, like what is happening in Palestine.
For months we've been hearing about so called leftists, punks, antifascists who will stand for Israel, no matter what, and are still standing for it now, supporting, in fact, Netanyaou's racist government and its actions leading to the disappearing of a whole population.
We heard that a normal position now, in this debate, might be not to take position, to agree to disagree. We can't stand with this.
We don't want to play our music in a place where putting on the Palestinian flag, or even a Keffieh, and speaking about our ideas can be problematic, or at worst, dangerous for us. We don't feel safe to play in this context.
We don't want to play on a venue where radical pro zionists discourses are allowed, while we are asked to justify our pro peace speeches.
We don't want to deal with this ambiguity and not getting support if a so called antifascist crowd doesn't want to hear our message and use their power, influence, or just their violence to shut us down, as we heard many stories about concerts ended because of pro palestinian talks, all over germany.
Last thing to clarify : we decided not to play at Zxxrxx because we heard about racist incidents happening there, pro zionists allowed without problems and so, we don't trust, and even don't agree with their "We don't take position as a place" statement.
We will play at W1 on this Friday night, with Radikkali, feel free to join us for nice music and share some watermelon !
