Last year in Villefranche-sur-Mer, I painted this brooch after seeing it in an exhibition of Princess Grace’s jewelry at the Prince’s Palace of Monaco. ✨

I loved everything about it … the turquoise, the oversized stone, and of course, the story behind it.

It makes me so happy that the original has now found a home with Dallas jewelry designer Nora Alford who appreciates the piece and its inspiration. 🤍
