📣 THE MUSIC MAN 📣
One of Broadway’s most beloved classics, The Music Man tells the story of fast-talking salesman Harold Hill, who arrives in small-town Iowa determined to swindle the locals by selling them band instruments and uniforms for a band he has no intention of forming. His plans are complicated when he falls for Marian, the town’s sharp-witted librarian. Packed with unforgettable songs such as “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Trouble,” and “Till There Was You,” this heartwarming show celebrates community spirit, romance, and the transformative power of music.

Les temps forts de ces dernières semaines!

Tout a commencé par nos workshops de préparation aux auditions, où 70 jeunes artistes se sont joints à nous pour s'entraîner au chant et au jeu d'acteur, ainsi que pour apprendre la chorégraphie et les harmonies vocales de The Music Man. Quelques jours plus t**d, 18 enfants ont participé à notre masterclass audition, ils ont eu l’occasion de travailler leurs chansons et leurs compétences scéniques avant de se donner à fond une nouvelle fois sur la piste de danse....

It’s been a super-busy couple of weeks! First came our pre-audition workshops, where 70 local young performers joined us to practice singing and acting as well as learn the audition dance routine and harmonies for The Music Man. A few days later, 18 kids took part in our audition masterclass, working on their songs and performance skills before dancing their socks off once again. Then came audition weekend itself, with 90 young performers singing, acting and dancing in front of our jury, all hoping to win a place in the cast of this Autumn’s show. This week, some were invited back for call-backs to audition for specific parts, and we’re now almost ready to announce who's playing who in the show (but not just yet). Behind the scenes, we’ve also been working on finalizing our new show poster, picked from among 16 brilliant designs sent in from around the world. At the same time, we’ve been visiting possible venues for our Alumni summer show, which we’ll announce very soon. Oh, and one more thing… YATS is now on TikTok!
