News for 2021: it's our 17th year: 29 July - 5 August but was a successful (mostly-outdoor) week of rehearsals and concerts in Kent, GB, but again not in France because of Covid 19 (following 2020 cancellation except for 2 precious concerts) This is to be topped by a lovely concert in Faversham on 4 December 2021. Centred around Seillans in the Var, this international festival attracts musicians and audiences from all over Europe and includes more than 20 concerts over 2 weeks. Pendant la première semaine, l'Académie permet aux instrumentistes à cordes de suivre des cours et de se produire dans un concert aux côtés d'un musicien professionnel. Pendant la deuxième semaine, de très bons chanteurs viennent pour interpréter un stimulant répertoire choral. In the first week, our Academy enables promising string players to be coached and to perform in quartets and in a concert sitting next to professional players. In the 2nd week, experienced amateur singers come to rehearse and perform a challenging choral repertoire. Deux jeunes chefs d'orchestre - Graham Ross, Directeur Musical du Clare College Cambridge, et James Lowe, Chef d'Orchestre de l'Orchestre de Chambre de Prusse et l'Orchestre de Vaasa, fournissent la direction musicale, encadrés par Pippa Pawlik, Directeur Artistique et violoniste. Two young conductors - Graham Ross, Music Director of Clare College Cambridge, and James Lowe, Chief Conductor of the Prussian Chamber Chamber & the Vaasa City Orchestras - provide musical direction, coordinated by the Artistic Director, violinist Pippa Pawlik. .

The brilliant, much enjoyed and shared success (musically and convivially) of the Bordeau Musique-Cordiale/Easy Singers weekend in Bordeaux and of the bus trip and wine outings, catering, full concerts, happy choir, amazing choral and instrumental occasion and expedited travel arrangements, despite unbelievable heat, was a tribute to exemplary planning, organisation and contant careful communication since last autumn, leaving everyone happy and unstressed and with plan for future repeat international collaborations and fun. Bravo especially Pippa and Caty and many others among our loyal enthusiasts!
