It's been a while since we've shared any content for contributors, so I wanted to give you the roadmap for the coming months to show you that there's some serious work in the works:
SRT V10 GEARBOX:
I've been working on version 1.4 of the Config Center (RC9 firmware) for a while now. It will bring many improvements:
Support for the LedPanel mod with pin selection
Improved preload adjustment with the ability to test the clutch with a slider that simulates the clutch pedal
New, quieter servo
Much more integrated documentation, including schematics and annotated PCB views
It's currently in beta testing with a small group who are providing a lot of feedback, and I thank them. That's also why it's taking a while... as long as they find problems or ideas for improvements, it keeps progressing.
In any case, this v1.4 is a significant step forward in terms of ease of use and will allow you to get even more out of this amazing box.
COMPETITION CONTROL BOX:
The V2.0 firmware is also currently being tested. I've reworked the motor control to increase the control frequency (which partly determines the motor speed) from 52kHz to 82kHz. In practical terms, the difference is so significant that we have to limit certain effects that can become quite aggressive.
And this is just the beginning.
ON THE WEBSITE:
I'm currently testing 3D visualization modules. You can see one at the beginning of the TractionLoss documentation:

For the moment, I don't find it particularly practical; I hope to find a better solution.
THE STORE:
A major undertaking recently was migrating the store to a new hosting provider with a new theme. This resolved the bugs some users were experiencing and, most importantly, made the site faster.
It's not the prettiest website in the world, but at least it's functional. You'll find the same products at the same prices!

IN THE MEANTIME:
I'm offering contributors the Fanatec power supply mount I designed (next post). It's also available on Cults: https://cults3d.com/:4447917
Thank you all for your support! It's difficult these days to find the time to advance projects, and even more difficult to find time to ride, but the passion and motivation remain the same thanks to you!
