KeiP Polymer Clay Jewelry Artist & Tutor — YouTube and Patreon — Explore my full catalog at KeiPfr.com 🇨🇦🇫🇷 Hi, I’m Keilan, creator/artist at KeiP.

I’m originally from Newfoundland, Canada but now live in the south of France. Polymer clay has become my passion and I’d like to share my wearable art with you. All of my one of a kind pieces are individually designed. Clay colours are mixed by hand and mostly include alcohol inks, mica powder, pastels and of course metal leaf, for a little extra pizzaz. All pieces are finished with my unique wire work. Please check out my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/ for tutorials.

‘Inside Out’ — Extruded Cernit Metallics & Translucent Clay.

Surrounding coloured metallic clay with translucent takes extruded mica shift to another dimension. The translucent is key to this technique, creating a deep mica shift with a cool floating effect when the extrusion is halved.

‘Beyond the Circle’ - Polymer Clay Extruded Metallics.
Celebrating the art of Hilma af Klint, I recreated two of her artworks using bold Cernit metallic colours and an extruder. I explored colour, geometry and metallic effects, translating her distinctive abstract compositions from oil on canvas into wearable polymer clay art.

‘Mad for Mondrian’ completes my trilogy of polymer clay interpretations inspired by the iconic work of Piet Mondrian. After exploring both classic and contemporary styles, this final piece introduces a hidden mica shift pattern, adding movement and depth while preserving Mondrian’s signature geometric composition. Crisp black lines, bold colour blocks, and shimmering texture come together like a miniature puzzle, celebrating how polymer clay can reinterpret a timeless artistic style in three completely different ways • Classic – faithful to the original aesthetic • Contemporary – a modern reinterpretation • Mica Shift – an unexpected polymer clay twist impossible to achieve in paint. Three Mondrians. Three styles. One iconic inspiration.

‘Memories of Mackintosh’ - The Glasgow Rose - Polymer Clay Stained Glass Effect 🌹
I was recently reminded of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, a Glaswegian artist and architect whose work I was first introduced to when I moved to Scotland back in 1997. Inspired by his timeless Glasgow Rose, I set out to recreate its flowing lines, bold outlines, and translucent coloured clay, carefully puzzling each piece back together to capture the elegance of the Arts & Crafts movement.
If you’d like to see how it was made, the full tutorial is available on my YouTube channel and Patreon, along with many more polymer clay projects. You’ll find me at .
