Fresnel Emotion,

First test of a new lighting project currently in development.

Fourteen Fresnel spotlights fitted with LED projectors, mounted on rotating axes, pay tribute to Augustin-Jean Fresnel, creator of the stepped Fresnel lens and the scientist who theorized the wave nature of light.

The movement, the lens, and the powerful light evoke the use of his innovations in lighthouses around the world.

Octogolo_artefestival

light installation
Taken from the YI Jing, the only thing that will never change is that everything changes all the time, Octo symbolizes a world in full mutation. Invited to contemplate the work for a few minutes, the spectator is immersed in an atmosphere straight out of a science fiction novel.

The octagonal object, as if planted in the ground, consists of a black and reflective surface, on which are arranged in a circle a set of lamps. Tone on tone, closed on themselves, they light up in a hypnotic loop. Like a superior element, a laser with the fineness of its lines breaks the roundness of the lamps and upsets this world in evolution.

The programming, where curves meet lines, light meets reflections, immerses the spectator in a story of a turbulent but hopeful period, which tells of a space in full metamorphosis. Created specifically, the hypnotic music of Cédric Béron participates entirely in this work that frees our imaginations.

.aveiro

Light Installation
200 nautical lamps are aligned at regular intervals in perfect symmetry on either side of a minimalist structure.
This open structure gives the viewer a deep and fascinating insight into the heart of the installation. Musical notes are linked to each lamp, generating a strange score of light and sound based on a musical composition by Cédric Beron.
The perspective effect gives the installation a hypnotising depth, no matter where the spectator looks at it from. The junction of
the lines and dots of light is disrupted by the mist creating chaos in this confined space. Order2OO evokes the duality
between order and disorder, separate yet inherently linked.

This week we were at the .aveiro festival in Aveiro, Portugal, to present Order200.
It was a wonderful week, with the artwork on display in a parking garage below sea level. This added a new dimension to the piece, which was created using 200 marine lamps.
