This song is dedicated to Mathilde Croguennec, who was murdered on June 26, 2005, at the Carnoet Teknival in France. Twenty years ago, this incident shocked me and has haunted me for years. It took place at the beginning of summer, during a large party. The victim had just turned 18.
It's a song that speaks of sadness and the feeling of injustice, as well as the paradox between the magic of the party and the horror that invites itself there.

This song and all the songs on the mini-album "SONGS FROM DAKHLA" were composed and recorded on the road with limited resources (a guitar, a telephone, a toy piano, and a "Crush Mini" amp). This mini-album is called "SONGS FROM DAKHLA" because it was composed and recorded during a road trip between Marseille, France, and Dakhla, Morocco, from January to May 2025.
