A look back at Simon Berger's “Reverberation” exhibition at Atelier Richelieu

Last November, our iconic Atelier Richelieu welcomed glass artist Simon Berger for a fascinating exhibition where sculpted glass met light. With over 50 works unveiled, the artist explored the materiality of glass, playing on transparency, volume and color to bring out faces and emotions.

A space dedicated to creation - the Atelier Richelieu - provided a majestic setting for this exploration of glass, light and movement. Somewhere between abstraction and figuration, Simon Berger's works played with transparency and reflections to create portraits of great intensity.

An encounter between past and present - through his glass sculptures, Simon Berger brought ancient myths into dialogue with our contemporary times, creating works where every crack tells a story.
