Ten days ago, the 4th La Maestra Competition came to an end.

Five intense days made possible by the collective commitment of the , the , and ’ teams, who brought this international event to life with dedication and enthusiasm.

Behind the camera, backstage, in the control room and on the technical side, many women and men work tirelessly to make this Competition possible and to share it with audiences around the world.

A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of them for their dedication, passion and professionalism! 🙏

➤ The Competition now gives way to the La Maestra Academy, opening a new chapter in supporting the next generation of conductors.

🔔 The final will take place on Saturday 28 February in two parts and with two orchestras at the Philharmonie de Paris (Grande salle Pierre Boulez):

• 3:30 pm — with the Paris Mozart Orchestra • 7:30 pm — with Orchestre de Paris

This new configuration significantly broadens the repertoire offered to the finalists who will first conduct the in the world premiere of “Au fil du geste”, a new work by Singaporean composer , alongside major Romantic pieces by Beethoven and Brahms.

Later, they will lead in large-scale symphonic works by Stravinsky and Ravel.

Le concours “La Maestra” est de retour ! Dédié aux cheffes d’orchestre, il réunit 16 talents venues du monde entier pour diriger des œuvres de Mozart, Mayer, Fauré ou Ravel. L’objectif ? Mettre en lumière les femmes dans la musique classique au travers de 3 étapes clés : épreuves éliminatoires, demi-finale, et finale. 🎼
