I dreamt of you last night and had an urge to write
This homage to your beauty you might read someday or never
I know that it’s crazy, but a memory gets hazy
And in these verses you’ll remain forever
I’ll always remember that Sunday of September
The sunshine, the breeze and the clear blue skies
Your radiant smile that haunts me for a while
Your cheerful "Hello" and the Danube in your eyes
And then this Sunday of March below that wooden arch
You were more beautiful than Szentháromság square
So what can I say, I hope to see you in May or
At least next September I promise to be there
Many roads I’ve travelled and now I’m old and tired
But there’s still this spark that your glare can ignite
And convert in a story about great love and glory
This simple poem and a dream of one night
