Június 19-én találkozunk!
A 2084 projekt utolsó rendezvénye egy hét múlva lesz, és izgatottan várjuk, hogy lezárhassuk a projektet és megosszuk veletek tapasztalatainkat.

Az elmúlt hónapokban megosztottunk bejegyzéseket a fenntarthatóságról és a környezettudatosságról. Olyan témákról írtunk, mint a karbonlábnyom, a fenntartható mezőgazdaság, az élelmiszer-pazarlás és a European Green Deal.

A 2084 projekt Final Dissemination Event-jének keretében megosztjuk saját tapasztalatainkat a művészeti alkotásokkal és nemzetközi projektekkel kapcsolatos környezettudatosságról.
A projekt elején feltettük magunknak a kérdést, mennyire lehet fenntartható egy művészi alkotás. Van-e határa a folyamat kreatív oldalának, ha a fenntarthatósági tényezőkre figyelünk? Meg tudjuk tartani a kijelölt irányelveket? Hogyan oldjuk meg a problémákat ilyen körülmények között?
A rendezvény témája a tapasztalatok megosztása a Sustainable Artistic Creation Plan (SACP) dokumentumunk segítségével.

On the 19th we meet!
The last event of the 2084 project will be held in a week and we are excited to close the project and share our experiences with you.

In the past months, we have shared posts about sustainability and environmental awareness. We have written about topics like carbon footprint, sustainable agriculture, food waste, and the European Green Deal.

During the final dissemination event of the 2084 project, we will share our own experiences about environmental awarness regarding artistic works and international projects.
At the beginning of the project, we asked ourselves how sustainable an artistic work can be. Are there any limits regarding the creative side of the process if we pay attention to the sustainability factors? Can we keep the guidelines? How do we solve problems in these conditions?
The theme of this event is experience sharing with the help of our Sustainable Artistic Creation Plan (SACP) document.

Présentation des résultats du projet 2084

Rendez vous en ligne jeudi 19 Juin à 17h !
Lors de l’événement, nous vous présenterons un document qui vise à rassembler toutes les connaissances acquises au cours du projet concernant la création de projets durables.

Le Plan de Création Artistique Durable (PCAD) s'appuie sur les recherche du Shift Project (Décarbonons La Culture). Il explore la question de la création respectueuse de l’environnement selon les thématiques suivantes :

Mobilité
Éco-conception
Restauration
Numérique
Lieu
Déchets

Ces facteurs façonnent un projet dès le départ et influencent non seulement son impact environnemental, mais aussi son résultat artistique. Nous pensons qu’il est important de comprendre et d’apprendre que l’on peut créer tout en respectant l’environnement.

L’événement final de dissémination est un rassemblement ouvert et en ligne, donc si vous êtes intéressé par la création artistique durable, n’hésitez pas à nous rejoindre le 19 juin !

A Sustainable Artistic Creation Plan (SACP) dokumentum végigjárja a fenntartható művészeti alkotás kérdéskörét, az alábbi témák mentén:

Ezek a tényezők a kezdetektől alakítják a projektet, és nemcsak a környezeti, hanem a művészeti eredményt is befolyásolják. Fontosnak tartjuk, hogy megértsük és megtanuljuk, hogy tudunk úgy alkotni, hogy közben odafigyelünk a környezetre.

During the 2084 project’s Final Dissemination Event, we will present you a document that aims to gather all the knowledge gained from the project regarding sustainable project creation.

The Sustainable Artistic Creation Plan (SACP) is a document that explores the issue of environment-friendly creation according to the following topics:
- Mobility
- Eco-design
- Catering
- Digital
- Venue
- Waste

These factors shape a project from the beginning and influence not only the environmental but also the artistic outcome. We believe it is important to understand and learn that we can create while paying attention to the environment.

The final dissemination event is an open and online gathering so if you are interested in sustainable artistic creation feel free to join us on the 19th of June!

2084 project is now in Budapest for the third show!

Mind hallottunk már az ökológiai lábnyomról, a karbonlábnyomról, talán még arról is, hogy figyelni kellene rá.
Na de pontosan mi is az a karbonlábnyom?

A karbonlábnyom egy lábnyom mutató, azt mutatja, hogy bizonyos tevékenységek, életmódok vagy termékek életciklusa nyomán mennyi üvegházhatású gáz kerül közvetetten és közvetlenül a levegőbe. Rendszerint egy éves időszakra vonatkozóan számítjuk a lábnyom mértékét, illetve megkülönböztetünk egyéni, vállalati és termékekre vonatkozó karbonlábnyomot. Azonban mindhárom esetben igaz, hogy minél nagyobb a karbonlábnyomunk, annál nagyobb az éghajlatváltozásra mért hatásunk is.

Az egyéni karbonlábnyomot az alábbiak határozzák meg:
- Háztartási energiafogyasztás
- Gépkocsi-használatból eredő üzemanyag-fogyasztás
- Tömegközlekedési eszközök használatának gyakorisága
- Légiközlekedés gyakorisága és a táv amit megteszünk
- Hulladék mennyisége és fajtája
- Étkezés milyensége, mennyisége
- Használati tárgyak vásárlása
- Internetezés, banki szolgáltatások stb. használata
- Szabadidős tevékenységek

We have all heard of the ecological footprint and the carbon footprint, and perhaps we even heard that we should pay attention to it.
But what exactly is a carbon footprint?

A carbon footprint is an indicator that shows how much greenhouse gas is released into the air, directly and indirectly, as a result of certain activities, lifestyles, or product life cycles. We usually calculate the footprint for a period of one year and distinguish between individual, corporate, and product carbon footprints. However, in all three cases, it is true that the larger our carbon footprint, the greater our impact on climate change.

The individual carbon footprint is determined by the following:
- Household energy consumption
- Amount of fuel consumption from car use
- Frequency of public transport use
- Frequency of air travel and distance covered
- Amount and type of waste
- Type and amount of food consumed
- Purchases of consumer goods
- Internet use, banking services, etc.
- Leisure activities

🇫🇷 Une nouvelle édition de la semaine des arts se déroule du 7 au 11 mars au lycée Schweitzer ! 🎨
La Transplanisphère, en tant que compagnie résidente de l’établissement, participe à la préparation de certains événements, qui réunissent élèves, parents d’élèves, professeurs et personnel administratif.
Dès son ouverture, le lundi, avec le Concours d’éloquence animé par Noémie Besace, jusqu’aux transitions théâtrales mises en scène par Bruno Freyssinet dans le cadre du spectacle de la chorale sous l’organisation de Stéphane Dietrich.
Une semaine riche en créativité et en émotions !🎭

🇬🇧 A new edition of Arts Week is taking place frome March 7 to 11 at Lycée Schweitzer ! 🎨
As the school’s resident company, La Tranplanisphère is contributing to the preparation of several events, bringing together students, parents, teachers, and administrative staff.
From it’s opening on Monday with the Eloquence Contest hosted by Noémie Besace to the theatical transitions directed by Bruno Freyssinet as part of the choir performance organized by Stéphane Dietrich.
The week promises to be full of creativity and emotions !🎭

Ice, That Sweet Memory: An Exhibition Like No Other ❄️🌊

The French residency of the 2084 Project is reaching its grand finale with a breathtaking exhibition followed by a theatrical performance at Théâtre de l’Atalante this Friday!

“Ice, That Sweet Memory” is an extraordinary exploration of climate change, told through the mesmerizing and ever-changing medium of ICE. Artists Elena Galeeva and Aliz Gyori have created an ephemeral experience that lasts only as long as the ice itself: about a day. Each passing moment erases images and shapes a little more, echoing the fragility of our existence in time.

The 2084 project is a collaboration between three artistic partners: LadderArt Company from Hungary, La Transplanisphère from France and HYBADU from Poland. The project focuses on sustainability in the performing arts and raising environmental awareness among local artists and citizens. 2084 is co-financed by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme, with the artistic participation of the Jeune théâtre national and support from the Fonds d’insertion pour Jeunes Comédiens de l’ESAD-PSPBB and ENSAD-Maison Louis Jouvet. Sustainability Training by La Transplanisphère: Building a Greener Future for the Performing Arts! 🌿
As part of The 2084 Project, we are committed to promoting sustainability in the performing arts through international collaboration between Hungarian (Ladder Art), French (La Transplanisphère), and Polish (Hybadu) partners.
La Transplanisphère, as a French partner, brings valuable expertise in sustainability through their projects LeCAKE (with The Shift Project). During the current French residency, we are leading sustainability training sessions for our artistic team, focusing on eco-conscious creation, responsible resource use, and the role of performing arts in raising environmental awareness.
The project is hosted by Tréteaux de France and Nouveau Théâtre de l’Atalante, with the support of Europe Creative for Europe and JTN, ESAD and ENSAD for France. �Here are some key sustainable practices we’ve integrated into The 2084 Project so far:
Sustainable Travel: Our team prioritizes train travel between residencies and opts for public transport, cycling, or walking over car use whenever possible. If a car is necessary, we maximize its use by sharing rides.
Sustainable Performance Design: Costumes and sets are made from reused clothes and raw materials, reducing waste while creatively repurposing what would otherwise be discarded.
Exhibition on Environmental Awareness: Each residency hosts an evolving exhibition centered on environmental protection, encouraging creative ways to highlight sustainability in the arts.
Eco-Friendly Meals & Accommodation: We choose local, plant-based food, avoid individually packaged items, and use reusable bags for shopping. Our residency spaces follow waste segregation and eco-conscious living principles.
Training & Awareness: We collaborate with local environmental partners, hold climate discussions, and explore how the performing arts can be a powerful tool for raising awareness about the climate crisis.
Sustainability is not just a concept; it’s a practice we integrate into every aspect of The 2084 Project. 🌍✨

The French residency of the 2084 Project has officially started in Paris! 🇫🇷 Over the next four weeks, we’ll be working intensively to bring our movement theater performance and exhibition to life, both centered around environmental protection.

The project is hosted by Tréteaux de France and Nouveau Théâtre de l’Atalante, with the support of Europe Creative for Europe and JTN, ESAD and ENSAD for France.

Le projet 2084 vise à promouvoir la création durable dans le domaine des arts du spectacle grâce à une collaboration internationale impliquant des partenaires hongrois (Létra Cultural Association), français (La Transplanisphère) et polonais (Hybadu). Son objectif principal est d'établir des pratiques durables dans le domaine des arts du spectacle, en se concentrant sur la création de productions qui abordent le thème du changement climatique et qui sont aussi respectueuses de l'environnement. Il peut servir de modèle à de futurs artistes engagés dans le développement durable.
Qu’est ce qui rend le projet 2084 respectueux de l'environnement ?

Les déplacements
Au cours des trois résidences mises en œuvre dans le cadre du projet, nous veillons à ce que les déplacements se fassent de façon eco-responsable. L'équipe artistique, qui est présente voyage en train, pendant la résidence. Sur place, l’équipe privilégie les transports en commun, le vélo ou la marche.

L'hébergement
Pendant des semaines, il est parfois difficile d'assurer des repas pour plus d'une vingtaine de personnes. Lors de la restauration, nous nous efforçons de choisir des plats locaux, principalement à base de légumes et non emballés individuellement. De plus, nous utilisons des gourdes et, bien sûr, nous pratiquons le tri sélectif.

La performance
La performance intitulée 2084, qui sera créée lors des résidences du projet, se concentre sur la protection de l'environnement et la crise climatique. Les costumes et les décors du spectacle sont tous fabriqués à partir de vêtements, de matériaux et de matières premières réutilisées.

Exposition
Le spectacle est accompagné d’un projet d’exposition dont le thème est construit autour de la protection de l'environnement, mais change d'une résidence à l'autre. Au cours du processus de création, comme dans le cas de la performance, la réutilisation est incontrournable.

Apprentissage
Au cours du processus de création, nous offrons à nos créateurs une formation sur la manière dont ils peuvent aider l'environnement à un niveau individuel et quotidien, avec de petites et de grandes choses.

Today, we want to show you exactly what makes the 2084 project environmentally friendly.

Travel
During the three residencies implemented within the project, we ensure that travel is done in the most environmentally friendly way. The artistic team, who are present on all three occasions, travels to the locations by train, during the residency, although we always try to choose public transport, cycling, or walking.

Accommodation
For weeks, it can sometimes be difficult to provide meals for more than twenty people. During the catering, we strive to choose local, mainly plant-based dishes that are not individually packaged. In addition, we use water bottles and, of course, waste selectively.

The performance
The performance titled 2084, which will be created at the 2084 Project residencies, focuses on environmental protection and the climate crisis in terms of its theme, but it is also important to pay attention to what we can do during our artistic work to protect the environment. The costumes and sets in the performance are all made from used clothes, materials, and raw materials. Reusing old things that others would have thrown away is a simple, yet very effective way to protect the environment.

Exhibition
Another artistic product of the project is the exhibition, the theme of which is always built around environmental protection, but changes from residency to residency. During the creative process, as in the case of the performance, reuse is an important aspect.

Learning
During the creative process, we provide training to our creators on how they can help the environment on an individual and everyday level, with small and large things.

2084 – Appel à participation pour un·e artiste visuelle – résidence artistique à Paris
Qui : Ladder Art Company (Hongrie), La Transplanisphère (France) et HYBADU (Pologne) engagent des artistes pour le « Projet 2084 ».
Quoi : Résidence artistique intensive de quatre semaines (3 février/2 mars 2025, Paris) pendant laquelle l’équipe artistique du projet collaborera avec des artistes basés en France pour créer la performance théâtrale « 2084 ». OPEN CALL - PERFORMING ARTS RESIDENCY IN PARIS, FRANCE
Who: Ladder Art Company (Hungary), La Transplanisphere (France) and HYBADU (Poland) hire performing artists for “The 2084 Project”.
What: Four-week-long intensive artistic residency (3 Feb/2 Mar -2025, Paris) during which the project’s artistic team will collaborate with artists based in France to create the “2084” theatre performance. All the creative work will focus on climate change, sustainability, and environmental consciousness. The residency will result in the showcase of the theatre performance in Paris.
Who are we looking for: performers specializing in physical and movement-based theatre
Minimal requirements for all participants: an understanding of English is necessary + availability for the whole duration of the workshop, rehearsals, and presentation event

Toujours dans le cadre du projet 2084 (soutenu par Europe Créative), nous nous attachons à sensibiliser aux défis environnementaux et à mettre en valeur les initiatives en matière d’action climatique. Aujourd’hui, nous vous présentons le dispositif European Climate Pact Ambassadors.
C’est un dispositif initié par l’UE pour fédérer des actrices et acteurs qui agissent en faveur du climat. Chaque pays de l’UE dispose de son propre réseau. Bruno Freyssinet (La Transplanisphère) est membre de ce groupe depuis un an, au titre des projets LeCAKE, Gresys et 2084. Au travers de projets européens comme de projets locaux, les membres français du Réseau des Ambassadeurs du Pacte Climat partagent des expériences artistiques, culturelles, sociales, pédagogique et même entrepreneuriales. Cela se traduit par des échanges en France et aussi à Bruxelles avec d’autres membres européens. Des présentations publiques permettent d’élargir le spectre, par exemple au Festival Anticipation en Septembre dernier à Paris - Gaité Lyrique. 
Pour les membres, le dispositif Climate Pact Ambassador s’efforce à la fois de stimuler l’inspiration et de la partager. En étant interdisciplinaire, il est capable de nous projeter un peu mieux sur le fameux enjeu “systémique” : difficile de faire avancer les choses chacun dans son silo, travaillons horizontalement ! 
Pour rejoindre le dispositif, l’appel à candidature est ouvert jusqu’au 31 Octobre. Chacun·e est invité à candidater, étudiant·es comme professionels confirmés. C’est l’engagement pour le défi climatique qui rassemble les participant·es !
