One of my favourite paintings.. I love to paint about people, people for me don’t have a colour or identity.. we are all humans.. one person.
I like to imagine a world where yes we all have our own identity, our cultural inheritance, and influence, our individuality but a world where we all are really one we are simply human. This painting want to tell you that love is the universal word that unite us all and is the only way we should see in each other’s hearts.

The eyes are the door to your soul.. “detail” the detail of the eyes, is to show you my artwork.. Is not casual the intense look, is how we often speak without speaking, how our eyes can speak our minds.
Details of what one of my many paintings, and many of my characters that I represent, they are between comics and pop art , but they communicate always some emotions ! They are the bridge that I build to arrive to you !

As I always try to communicate, to transfer, translate, transcend, emotions, with my art, I reflect on how I focus every time with the power of the gaze .
Our eyes are the most significant and important part to represent our individual soul, I often paint without realising, subconsciously, giving a strong gaze to the faces of the people that I represent in my artwork. I focus today in the indirect way of expressing our emotions through the gaze of the people.. often I write words to say what I feel , the message that I want to tell people, but often the eyes of that I paint are the most potent tool that engages the feelings of the viewer.
So let’s reflect of the gaze when an artist shows a portrait or a painting with a face that wants to talk to you .

As I always try to communicate, to transfer, translate, transcend, emotions, with my art, I reflect on how I focus every time with the power of the gaze .

Yesterday evening we had the finissage , many people came at the gallery and did an amazing performance that connected ballet dance and painting! We were mesmerised by this new way of seeing art ! Thanks to Marina for her incredible performance.
