I’m delighted to share this series of bowls by Natsuko Uchino, whose practice moves fluidly between everyday objects, installation, and art.
Photographed by in an apartment beautifully renovated by the talented architect duo .

Their partners .sau and invited me to curate pieces in dialogue with the owner’s art collection and our shared appreciation for vernacular objects.

Ryu Yeun Hee is a Seoul-based silversmith and a finalist of the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize 2025.

In Korea, metal cutlery holds a central role.
Traditionally, meals are eaten with sujeo — a metal spoon and flat metal chopsticks — symbols of durability, refinement, and respect for the ritual of eating.
