Nine years ago, URBS ARTIS was born from a deep desire to share the vibrant world of contemporary art. It has been an incredible journey of discovery, constant learning, and connection with artists and galleries across Europe.
Today, I have decided to close this chapter of daily research and constant publishing. This isn't a final goodbye, but rather a "see you later." I’ve chosen to transform this space into a place for personal observation and enjoyment—moving away from the pressure of schedules and algorithms to reconnect with the pure pleasure of looking at art.
I take with me the invaluable lessons of these years: the discovery of new technologies, the challenge of digital creation, and, above all, the joy of sharing creative beauty with all of you.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey. We will continue to cross paths in museums, on the streets, and in our shared love for art.

A journey through memory, atmosphere, and landscape. 🌫️🎨 Tomorrow, the City of Regensburg and Galerie Isabelle Lesmeister ( ) invite you to the opening of Nico Sawatzki’s () newest body of work: "GUTE GEGEND".
The Concept:
Sawatzki’s paintings float between abstraction and emotional resonance. Using layers of spray paint and acrylic, he creates atmospheric spaces that evoke horizons and distant weather.
A Personal Topography:
For the first time, the artist includes geographic coordinates in his works, linking each piece to specific locations in and around Regensburg where his own memories were formed. It’s not just a map; it’s a bridge between cartography and the heart.
