Grateful to have had the opportunity to walk throughout this phenomenal museum. If you know my art, you know it’s largely inspired by the set of artists situated in Paris during the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Picasso among this group showed great promise as many artists, writers and designers gravitated towards him and his genious. His art truly revolutionized what we now know as “modern art”.

Can’t wait to go back to Paris.

“For van Gogh, oleanders were joyous, life-affirming flowers that bloomed "inexhaustibly" and were always "putting out strong new shoots."
In this painting from August 1888, the flowers fill a majolica jug that the artist used for other still lifes made in Arles. They are symbolically juxtaposed with Émile Zola's novel La joie de vivre (the joy of living)”
