The exhibition « Etat Temporaire : Mutagenese » is on view everyday from 02:00 pm to 08:00 pm until Sunday June 23rd. The opening is in one week: get ready!

Agnieszka Szostek invites you in her laboratory, playing the role of a contemporary Victor Frankenstein.

The guideline of the Polish visual artist Agnieszka Szostek’s work remains the exploration of materials, sometimes recreating human skin from plastic polymers, sometimes proposing hybrid sculpture collages mixing artificial and natural elements. Working with both manmade and natural materials allows her to question our environment -- and at large the future and the past of humankind.
Her work echoes the practice of other artists from her generation, using at the same time, organic and industrial alongside rational and irrational forms. Henceforth, offering a new way to read the concerns and expectations for the future of our contemporary society.
