Kuho Jung is the first external Artistic Director in the history of Kiaf SEOUL, appointed for the 25th anniversary edition in 2026. For this selection on ArtMajeur, he brings together artists from different eras and continents to explore the enduring theme of the solitary figure. Through painting, sculpture, drawing, and photography, each work reflects on silence, contemplation, and the relationship between the individual and its surroundings.

From modern masters to contemporary Korean and international artists, the collection traces a poetic dialogue on the presence and sometimes the absence of the human figure.

Celebrating its 25th edition, KIAF Seoul opens a new chapter with a refreshed artistic identity. Guided by acclaimed designer Kuho Jung, this milestone edition introduces a reimagined visual concept, exhibition design, and visitor experience, further reinforcing the fair's role as one of Asia's premier contemporary art events.

This year, 175 galleries from 18 countries come together to showcase the diversity and dynamism of the global and Korean contemporary art scenes, fostering meaningful connections across the international art community.

Curated by Jérôme Pantalacci, this selection brings together artists whose works explore the complexities of contemporary society through questions of identity, power, and belonging. Moving between irony, critique, and intimacy, the featured works reveal a world shaped by contradictions, from beauty standards and bodily autonomy to everyday life, vulnerability, and the acceptance of difference.
In Adoptez-les, Patrick Jannin invites viewers to embrace the strange, the hybrid, and the unconventional. Through his enigmatic masked figures, he challenges conventional notions of normality and beauty, encouraging empathy for what is different and celebrating identities that exist beyond established norms.

Hosted at Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille, the former to***co factory turned cultural hub welcomes galleries, artists, and collectors from 18 countries across four continents. This anniversary edition shines a spotlight on the Mediterranean through curated projects, solo presentations, and a vibrant programme of events.

A sculpture that looks like it's about to topple over, a mural deemed too provocative for a courthouse, piranhas painted on a police box... Banksy strikes again in London! 🎨

But who foots the bill when street art shows up uninvited? Taxpayers. Nearly £150,000 has already been spent on security, cleanup, and admin to protect (or erase) his latest works.

Westminster still hasn't decided what to do with the Waterloo Place sculpture, now under its responsibility. The bill could keep climbing 📈
