Going back to last week-end’s session with french Noise Rock band Gavagaii, great session with a great band.
I was assisted by Rufus Fox from Manchester, and he came with great advice : embrace the bleed.
The challenge was to have two very loud amps in the room…. We isolated them by creating a booth with pannels. There was still some bleed, but it turns out it works. The rooms are absolutely useable. I did record the return talk back mic too, just in case (with deep thd).

Recorded in Studio 1 downstairs. Preamplifier by Trident-65, Girardin, Siemens V76 and HLabs Pre 169.
Sounds ace.
