new creative initiative, tailored towards building and strengthening the current art community in Lebanon. It is the centre stage of artistic exposure for up-and-coming artists, and takes an unconventional approach to merging artistic vision and expertise. The Collaborative exhibition is geared towards a concept of unity with an individualistic twist: The theme of the exhibition is chosen by the art manager and each artist is free to interpret the theme through their own artistic style. This includes the planning of exhibitions, any form of publications and the sponsorship required in shining a direct spotlight on new artists through the support of the Mise En Abyme network. Mise En Abyme is the idea of a story within a story and the Cultural Events department will serve to showcase unique community-building stories through exhibitions, screenings and all others genres of thematic medium.
