Posting after a bit of a hiatus since having a BABY. 🥰 Currently walking through learning to be a mom to my favorite little human in the world and making pottery and doing ya know, life as it just keeps flying by. But it’s all so so good.
Lots of NEW COLORS and vases for those springtime blooms are available at my upcoming markets, such as the one this Saturday in Chattanooga!

It’s been a while! I’ve been hustling as much as possible outside the insta world since we’ve been home from our few months in France! So much ground has been shifting, it’s felt strange to show up here in efforts to share it all, but here’s a little glimpse into my world this summer!

🌞We moved! I still have my studio and garden, but we moved to a new neighborhood intentionally closer to our people which has been the biggest blessing.
🌞We got a puppy! His name is Mozzie. He’s my favorite animal on earth right now and we’re working on him becoming the sweetest studio pup.
🌞And my biggest news of all, we’re having a baby this fall!!

There’s so much to say, but just know I’m grateful for your continued support and love of the handmade arts in the midst of a fast paced culture. I’ll soon be sharing a lot of updates, new products, and what’s to come for Esse in my season of pregnancy this fall! Just wanted to fill you in on the season we’re cruising through today.

Bonjour from Paris!! We arrived early last weekend and just ended our stay here. A lovely piece of life I’m just as passionate about as pottery might be food and boy have we found a few gems here. (Thank you & for the best quiche of our lives 👌🏼) Creative inspiration is just beaming about in every nook. I can’t wait to share more from our time here! We visited the tourist hot spots, but took a few detours to pursue some personal dreamy spots I’ve had in mind since middle school when Barefoot Contessa was my background to homework every evening.
Now on to Tours for the weekend before heading to Bordeaux! ✨

We’re off to Paris! Made this for the studio just in time to hang it up outside the door, kind of staking my claim and pride in it.
We unloaded the kiln minutes before heading to the airport! Felt like Christmas morning (per usual when unloading a kiln) but this time specifically in Home Alone when everyone leaves for Paris and the morning is insanity but also really exciting, except instead of Kevin we left our kitten Mia. (On purpose but still tears were shed) 🥺

This is where I’d throw out all the plate metaphors. Spinning plates, having a full plate, stacks on stacks, balancing them all, hoping to not shatter them, oooo and my personal fav is throwing plates to celebrate the big joys in life.
I relate to quite literally all of them today. Balancing a lot, thankful for a lot, excited for a lot, also trying really hard to not drop any but also give myself a break. Like hey, throw a few plates and stop stressin’. 🤙🏼
