Recorded live at Blue Note Tokyo on April 22nd, we had the immense privilege of capturing "Unlimited Miles: Miles Davis at 100," a dream project led by the brilliant, Grammy-winning pianist and composer John Beasley (who famously played with Miles himself). Flanked by an all-star sextet featuring Sean Jones, Mark Turnet, Rosenwinkel, Ben Williams , and Gully, the energy on stage was absolutely electric.

To celebrate this centennial tribute, we pushed the boundaries of live capture by testing High Frame Rate (HFR) workflows. The VENICE 2 integrated seamlessly with our existing Burano and Cabrio lens setups, allowing us to preserve the rich, organic texture of jazz while achieving a level of cinematic clarity that truly does justice to this historic performance.

This project aired on May 26th for the 100th Anniversary of Miles, keeping his timeless legacy alive. 🎶✨
