• Pierre Yovanovitch | Beauregard, 2026

“This collection reflects my desire to bring together exceptional craftsmanship and contemporary creation, precision and imagination.”

The “Beauregard” collection by .yovanovitch.mobilier introduces lacquer as a central, expressive element, transforming it from a decorative finish into a material language. Presented in Paris, the sculptural series reflects a dialogue between architectural heritage, French decorative arts, and contemporary design inspired by the 18th-century Hôtel de Beauregard.

Comprising nine pieces, the collection combines natural or dark stains with hand-applied lacquered legs in rich tones, accented by brass details and refined upholstery. It underscores exceptional craftsmanship while drawing on influences from Pierre Cardin and Emilio Terry, ultimately positioning furniture as a space for formal and material experimentation.

Currently on view at London through May 8

“I want to form correlations by permitting structure—something so clearly defined—to be dismantled, set aside, or allowed to blur between its lines.”

works through a process of deconstruction, reworking classical imagery into minimal, abstracted compositions with desaturated palettes. His practice balances abstraction and figuration, using digital “digs” to collage, edit, and reinterpret art-historical sources into layered painterly forms.

His recent paintings intensify colour, pattern, and surface tension, exploring contrasts between flatness and depth. These works fuse multiple visual histories into cohesive yet dynamic compositions, expanding his dialogue between past and present.

• Lola Gil | Eleanor, 2023

“As I work on these portraits, I feel the sensation of patience, curiosity, and forgiveness. The glass figure invites the viewer to see depth, feel empathy, and connect with the stranger on a human level.”

’s work disturbs visual conventions of domesticity and consumption. Fantastic and uncanny, most of her paintings depict scenes in and around the home, with fragmented or warped images layered on the picture plane.

Blown glass figurines feature prominently within Gil’s canvases, sometimes obscuring the entirety of a figure or landscape. Thematically, her practice experiments with and develops the visual language of suburban nostalgia, interpersonal connection, and alienation that finds roots in vernacular American imagery like Norman Rockwell’s illustrations.

• Kent O’Connor | Four Figures on a Couch, 2025-26

“These paintings are unapologetically what they are… There is only what I see, a poetry of forms and awkward sitters… Every painting is its own defined by conditions and circumstances in and outside of my control.”

’s prioritizes deep observation and engagement, emphasizing the essential presence of artist and subject while making his work.

O’Connor’s direct portraits depict friends, family, and himself with an unguarded gaze. Each work takes shape over several prolonged live-sitting sessions with his subject. Through this extended painting process, O’Connor adjusts and refines their features, subtly distorting faces and bodies into deliberate, architectonic forms. The result bears a psychological intensity that extends beyond representation, shaped by time and the artist’s sustained attention.

• Elladj Lincy Deloumeaux | Un après-midi sur la terrasse, 2024

“I would describe my pictorial universe as spiritual and plural.”

develops a documentary practice rooted in heritage, symbolic imagery, drawing from daily life, mythologies, and cultural belief systems. His work examines the layered iconography of the Afro-Caribbean landscape, weaving together personal and collective histories.

Through still lifes and painting that merge found and familiar objects, he constructs a plural identity offering spiritual, social, and historical readings. Each work unfolds as an initiatory passage, confronting darkness to reclaim ancestral selfhood, and opening a path toward self-knowledge.

• Diego Perrone | Il sole come un gatto

Exhibited at Naples through July 4

Diego Perrone is one of the most original voices in contemporary art, working primarily through sculpture and drawing. His practice constructs suspended mental landscapes and ambiguous spaces where the real and the imaginary continuously blur and overlap.

“il sole come un gatto” marks his first institutional exhibition in Naples, spanning multiple media, it revisits key motifs from over twenty years of practice, drawing on animal, rural, and vernacular worlds to build a post-folk visual language between tradition and the digital present.

• Lina Ghotmeh | Metamorphosis in Motion

Currently on view at Palazzo Litta through April 26

« Conceived as a labyrinth, the installation invites visitors to slow down, encouraging moments of encounter, pause, and surprise. »

This site-specific installation, created by for Variations, marks her first outdoor project in Italy. Installed in the courtyard of Palazzo Litta and inspired by its Baroque history, the pavilion unfolds as a playful labyrinth, inviting visitors to wander, pause, and become part of the space itself.

Rooted in the courtyard’s role as a place of encounter, the project reimagines it as a collective ecosystem, where light, perception, and human interaction continuously reshape the experience, layering a contemporary narrative onto the site without altering its essence.

“I’ve always been drawn to the idea of beauty as something accessible in the everyday, often shaped by surprise and excitement, which made this collaboration feel very natural.“

To mark the launch of her collaboration with , presents a temporary installation at Giardino delle Arti in Milan. Set on one of Italy’s oldest carousels, dating back to the 1700s, the work reimagines the fairground ride with oversized fruit and vegetable carriages that visitors can ride.

Where architecture stops being structure and starts becoming movement. A staircase that feels less like a path, and more like a quiet sculpture in motion.

Designed by , this space reframes circulation as experience, transforming a functional element into a central sculptural form. The helical stair anchors the interior, while water, light, and material restraint create a meditative spatial rhythm.

• Jess Allen

“Shadows interest me immensely because they are silent and ephemeral. They are evocative and, like memories, they are hazy. In a way, they are a minimal representation of our physical selves.”

’s works emerge at the atmospheric crux between present and past, conjuring the liveness of an object or place we also sense is lost. Her paintings imply presence through absence through depictions of interior architecture and furniture, rendered in a rich color scheme dominated by deep reds, oranges, greens and blues.

The shadow is explored intimately by Allen who casts shadows of figures or architectural features across the fabrics and walls painted in each background. Allen’s shadows function like an inverted spotlight, creating focus and presence through absence.
