👀 What if an ordinary object completely changed its meaning depending on where you looked at it?
In the museum courtyard, dozens of everyday objects have been placed on a metallic platform. Chairs, packaging, forgotten items… repurposed and arranged on the ground in a regular grid, they compose a striking open-air still life.
This installation is the work of Harry Nuriev, Maison&Objet Designer of the Year 2026 and founder of Crosby Studios. He invites us to look at our surroundings differently. Here, nothing is truly fixed or destined to be thrown away: each object finds a new life, a new value, through its interaction with the museum’s classical architecture.
This approach echoes the spirit of the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature’s cabinet of curiosities, and the interplay between the architecture, artworks, and artifacts that meet and respond to one another.
With this installation, Harry Nuriev creates an unexpected dialogue between past and present, the everyday and the exceptional, object and artwork.
