“I could just let myself dream”

Music has always been a big part of my creative process.
Sometimes an idea starts with a song playing somewhere in the background. Next thing you know, there are giant vinyls floating in the sky and your brain does the rest.

When I first started illustrating, I was mostly thinking about posting my work online. But at some point I realized something: your art doesn’t have to stay on a screen.

Seeing your work printed changes the way you look at it. It makes everything feel a bit more real.

Today it’s much easier to turn digital artwork into real prints with , without dealing with inventory or shipping.

If I had to start my art journey again today, these are probably the things I’d focus on.

I created this illustration while working with and their new Yoga Tab.
I wanted it to feel like a mix of surf culture and anime references, with a strong sense of movement and storytelling through panels.
Colors and small details did the rest.
Just wanted to share the final piece here 🏄

January doesn’t have to be about big plans or big launches.
Sometimes it’s just about getting back into the flow, trying a few ideas, and letting your work exist outside your screen.

This was 2025.
Probably the most creative year of my life.

The year I left my corporate job to go all in on art and content creation.
The year I trusted my gut a little more than fear.

Book covers, posters, t-shirts, calendars, animations, illustrations, brand collaborations… so many projects, so many first times, so many things I never thought would actually happen.

Grateful for every opportunity, every client, every late night creating.
Can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store.

Some days I sit down with zero idea… then I remember I can literally draw whatever I want. 🌻
That freedom is probably my favorite part of drawing.

To get that paper feel on my iPad, I use the iPad screen protector, plus their bumper and screen cleaner. Such a solid setup if you’re into digital painting.

This type of piece is really my favorite.

I like building weird little worlds through illustration and design, just letting my imagination do its thing.
That’s when creating feels the most fun to me.
