[HORS LES MURS]

Découvrez le travail de Massinissa Selmani à la 11e édition de la Biennale Internationale d’Art Contemporain de Melle, « Bruissements patients », du 27 juin au 27 septembre 2026.

Résonnant avec les inquiétudes d’un monde rural préoccupé par l’eau et le dérèglement climatique, les propositions d’artistes issus d’horizons géographiques multiples sollicitent des notions comme la lenteur face à l’urgence, l’évanouissement ou l’effacement. Récurrentes dans le parcours de l’exposition, les figures du cercle et de la spirale évoquent un tourbillon ou encore la vitalité d’une présence agissante. Dans un mouvement lent et avec persévérance, les artistes portent la voix, résolument, en un concert de bruissements patients.

Discover the work of Massinissa Selmani at the 11th edition of the International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Melle, "Bruissements patients », from June 27th to September 27th 2026.

Resonating with the concerns of a rural world grappling with water and climate disruption, works by artists from a wide range of geographic backgrounds engage with notions such as slowness in the face of urgency, vanishing, and erasure. Running throughout the exhibition, the recurring motifs of the circle and the spiral evoke a sense of swirling movement and the vitality of an active presence. With slow, steady resolve, the artists raise their voices together in a concert of patient rustlings.

Rendez-vous ce premier jour d’Art Basel sur notre stand M13, section Statements, pour découvrir le travail d’Élise Peroi.

« L’œuvre d’Elise Peroi, de par sa nature architecturale, charrie quelque chose de cette histoire [de l’art mural moderne]. Elle convoque cet imaginaire et, dans le même temps, le déplace vers une approche phénoménologique de l'espace, où la structure ne vaut plus pour elle-même mais pour les relations, les rythmes et les circulations qu'elle rend possibles. Héritière des clôtures les plus anciennes, tressages archaïques, l'œuvre prolonge une généalogie du mur tissé qui, à travers motifs et ornements, porte des symboles et participe aux rituels sociaux qui se déploient dans l’enceinte qu’elle délimite. »

« Élise Peroi's work, by virtue of its architectural nature, carries something of this history [of modern mural art] within it. It summons this imaginary and, at the same time, shifts it toward a phenomenological approach to space, where structure no longer holds value in itself but in the relationships, rhythms and circulations it makes possible. Heir to the oldest enclosures, archaic weavings, the work extends a genealogy of the woven wall which, through motifs and ornaments, bears symbols and participates in the social rituals that unfold within the enclosure it delineates. »

Découvrez le travail de Marion Baruch dans l’exposition collective ‘Photographs by Constantin Brâncuși - Vintage Prints in Dialogue with Carl Andre, Marion Baruch, and Evariste Richer’ au Museum of Recent Art à Bucarest, Roumanie, jusqu’au 27 septembre 2026 !

Des vues de l'ensemble de Târgu Jiu prises in situ, cadrées en laissant plus ou moins de place au ciel et à la nature, sont mises en dialogue avec ‘Traiettorie’ de Marion Baruch (née en 1929), artiste d'origine roumaine travaillant en Italie. Les lignes noires et fluides de Baruch, élaborées à partir de chutes de l'industrie textile, l'« espace négatif » de la production, instaurent un dialogue entre espace et mémoire. Tous les deux artistes donnent forme au vide spirituel qui enveloppe un objet : l'objectif de Brâncuși inscrit ses monuments dans le ciel ; les lignes de Baruch font du vide une présence.

Discover the work of Marion Baruch in the group show ‘Photographs by Constantin Brâncuși - Vintage Prints in Dialogue with Carl Andre, Marion Baruch, and Evariste Richer’ at the Museum of Recent Art in Bucharest, Romania, until September 27th 2026!

Views of the Târgu Jiu ensemble in situ, framed with varying degrees of sky and presence of nature, are set in conversation with ‘Traiettorie’ by Marion Baruch (b. 1929), a Romanian-born artist working in Italy. Baruch's fluid black lines, drawn from textile industry scraps, the "negative space" of production, establish a dialogue between space and memory. Both artists give form to the spiritual emptiness surrounding an object: Brâncuși's lens carves his monuments into the sky; Baruch's lines draw the void into presence.

Découvrez cette semaine le travail de Léonore Chastagner à sa toute première exposition personnelle à la galerie, « Ce qu'il faut aimer est absent ».
Elle sera visible jusqu’au 11 juillet 2026.

« Léonore Chastagner parle de ses céramiques comme “d’instantanés, de photos avec un cadrage sur un point précis”. Ce rapport à l’instant embrasse le quotidien, présent également sous la forme de textes proches du journal intime. Ici, le soin apporté au détail ne fonctionne pas comme ornement, mais comme procédé d’une mise à nu de l’intime (sac à main, tricot, couverture). »

It will be on display until July 11th.

“Léonore Chastagner describes her ceramics as "snapshots, photographs framing a precise point." This relationship to the instant embraces the everyday, which also appears in the form of texts as in a personal diary. Here, the care devoted to detail functions not as ornament but as a process of laying bare the intimate (a handbag, a knitting, a blanket).“

Rendez-vous le mercredi 17 juin 2026, à partir de 18h, pour le vernissage de ‘Side by Side’ au Botanique, Bruxelles. Cette exposition collective présente 10 lauréats ayant reçu un prix de la Centrale for Contemporary Art au cours des 4 dernières années, dont Léonore Chastagner dans le cadre du concours Ceramics Brussel Art 2025.

Dix artistes, dix approches, une même attention aux gestes, aux récits, à ce qui lie les corps aux lieux, les individus aux systèmes, les mémoires aux objets. À travers la photographie, la vidéo, le dessin, la peinture et l’installation, les lauréats tissent une cartographie sensible du présent, où l’intime rejoint le politique, où le personnel éclaire le collectif.

Join us on Wednesday June 17th 2026, from 6pm, for the opening of ‘Side by Side’ at the Botanique, Brussels. This group exhibition features 10 artists who have received an award from the Centrale for Contemporary Art over the past four years, including Léonore Chastagner as part of the Ceramics Brussel Art 2025 competition.

Ten artists, ten approaches, yet a shared focus on gestures, narratives, and the connections between bodies and places, individuals and systems, and memories and objects. Through photography, video, drawing, painting and installations, the winners weave a sensitive map of the present, where the intimate meets the political, and the personal sheds light on the collective.
