Ein ganz besonderer Ort: Die Ausstellungsräume der Achilles Stiftung ♥️ Sie sind das Vermächtnis von Edith und Barbara Achilles, Mutter und Tochter, Unternehmerinnen in der Maschinenbaubranche Hamburgs, die ihre Sammelleidenschaft teilten.

“...so die Hoffnung, soll sich hier eine neue Heimstätte für das internationale künstlerische Glas entwickeln, ein Ort des Austauschs, der Anregung, des Genusses und der Forschung. Es möge ein Treffpunkt enstehen für Fachleute, Liebhaber und Sammler, der aber in wenigstens dem selben Maße auch Menschen anspricht, die sich bisher noch nicht mit dem künstlerisch gestaltenen Glas befaßt haben.”

DIMANCHE SANS FIN - Maurizio Cattelan und die Sammlung des Centre Pompidou. Eine ganz formidable Ausstellung, um den ewigen Sonntag zwischen Muße und Revolte nie ausklingen zu lassen. Ein Sprung und Eintauchen in die Kunstgeschichte, kuratiert und textlich begleitet ganz wunderbar von Cattelan. So vielschichtig der Begriff des Sonntags ist, so facettenreich ist die Ausstellung mit Blicke auf ästhetische, politische und soziale Fragen in unserer heutigen Gesellschaft. Perfekt für alle wie mich, die wollen, dass Sonntage nie vergehen🤍
