Peter Zumthor, Bruder Klaus Feldkapelle, Allemagne

La Bruder Klaus Feldkapelle, conçue par l'architecte suisse Peter Zumthor, est une petite chapelle située à , en . Principalement construite en utilisant des matériaux naturels tels que du bois, du béton et de la pierre, cette chapelle a été conçue comme un lieu de méditation et de spiritualité.

L'extérieur est formé d'une structure en bois, composée de troncs d'arbre assemblés de manière à former une coque organique et irrégulière rappelant la forme d'un igloo ou d'une ruche. À l'intérieur, un espace en béton a été coulé, à la texture rugueuse et organique. Une ouverture dans le toit en béton laisse passer la lumière, créant un fascinant jeu d’ombres et de lumières.

ᅪ The Bruder Klaus Feldkapelle, designed by Swiss Peter Zumthor, is a small chapel located in Mechernich, Germany. Mainly built using natural materials such as wood, concrete and stone, this chapel was designed as a place of meditation and spirituality.

The exterior is made up of a wooden structure, made up of tree trunks assembled from so as to form an organic and irregular shell reminiscent of the shape of an igloo or of a hive. Inside, a concrete space was poured, with a rough and organic texture. An opening in the roof made of concrete lets light through, creating a fascinating play of light and shadow.

Kengo Kuma, Prostho Museum Research Center (Kasugai-shi, Japon).

ᅪ Situé à Kasugai-shi, au Japon, le Gc Prostho Museum Research Center est un centre de recherche spécialisé dans le domaine de la prosthodontie. Le bâtiment se distingue par son design contemporain et innovant, caractéristique du style de Kengo Kuma, qui est souvent associé à l'utilisation créative du bois et à une forte intégration de la nature dans ses conceptions architecturales.

Le bâtiment possède une architecture fluide et organique. Les courbes douces et les formes harmonieuses évoquent le travail artisanal précis associé à la prosthodontie. Kengo Kuma est connu pour équilibrer l'innovation contemporaine avec le respect des traditions architecturales locales. Ses conceptions peuvent incorporer des éléments traditionnels japonais tout en apportant une touche de modernité.

Emmanuel Barrois et Kengo Kuma ont collaboré ensemble dans la création de la façade du Frac Marseille.
