🇰🇷 🇫🇷 Three Unframed Collection works featured in the Bridge of Light exhibition in Seoul

Bridge of Light opens today at the KF XR Gallery in Seoul, bringing together Korean and French artists to mark the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Korea.

Co-hosted by the 한국국제교류재단 KF and the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Korea, the exhibition looks at 140 years of cultural exchange through the idea of light, tracing its transformations from painting and cinema to contemporary digital creation.

Three works from the Unframed Collection catalogue are presented as part of the exhibition:

➡️ IN URBE by Ugo Arsac takes us beneath the visible city, into the network of sewers, tunnels and infrastructures hidden below Paris. Built from 3D scans captured by the artist during his explorations underground, the work reveals another geography of lines, networks and flows, where electrical grids and data networks form new “worlds of light”.

➡️ Claude Monet: The Water Lily Obsession by Nicolas Thépot explores light through the work of one of the leading figures of Impressionism. From the garden at Giverny to the Musée de l’Orangerie, the experience enters the changing landscape of the Water Lilies, shaped by reflections, seasons, water and colour.
Co-produced by Lucid Realities , ARTE France, Camera Lucida Productions, Musées d’Orsay et de l’Orangerie and Gebrueder Beetz Filmproduktion.

➡️ Flow by Adriaan Lokman turns invisible currents of air into lines of light and movement. Without dialogue or narration, the experience uses image and spatial sound to give shape to the wind and lead us through a world suspended between abstraction and reality.

For this new portrait from NUMIX Lab 2025, we met Gunnar Eriksson, Project Manager at AI Sweden (and former Program Manager Film & TV) at Lindholmen Science Park, an innovation hub connecting industry, academia and the public sector to explore the future of media, AI and mobility.

📍A conversation on the evolving audiovisual landscape in the Nordic region, the role of XR and cross-media collaboration in future storytelling, and how institutions like Lindholmen can act as bridges between creativity, technology and innovation.

Pour ce nouveau portrait de notre série NUMIX Lab 2025, nous avons rencontré Gunnar Eriksson, chef de projet au programme Sweden (et ancien responsable du programme Film & TV) au Lindholmen Science Park, un hub d’innovation qui relie industrie, recherche et secteur public pour explorer l’avenir des médias, de l’IA et de la mobilité.

📍Une conversation sur l’évolution du paysage audiovisuel dans les pays nordiques, le rôle de la XR et des collaborations cross-media dans les nouvelles formes de narration, et la manière dont des institutions comme Lindholmen peuvent agir comme des ponts entre créativité, technologie et innovation.
