Paris Photo is the world’s largest art fair dedicated to photography and image-based art. It has served as a leading platform for over 25 years for the exploration of the medium. Celebrating its 28th anniversary in 2025, Paris Photo continues to foster a powerful dialogue between historic works and contemporary practices. Featuring more than 200 galleries and 45 publishers, Paris Photo offers a rich programme that spans five sectors: Main, Emergence, Digital, Voices and Book. In 2024, Paris Photo welcomed over 80,000 visitors, including 1,700 artists and 400 book signings, 7,000 collectors and VIP, 245 exhibitors from more than 30 different countries, and representatives from 200 international museums & institutions.

Partner exhibition: “10 Years of HUAWEI XMAGE Awards – A Heartwarming World”

At Paris Photo 2026, HUAWEI XMAGE Awards celebrate their tenth anniversary with the exhibition “A Heartwarming World”.

XMAGE is Huawei’s photography brand. Combining advanced software, hardware, chip and cloud technologies with a distinctive aesthetic vision, it develops visual experiences that explore the power of the image. This year, XMAGE introduces “Now is Your Shot”, an invitation to creators to seize the moment and bring their own perspective to the world through their lens.

Dedicated to Huawei mobile photography, the XMAGE Awards bring together images made by Huawei users around the world. Since their launch in 2017, they have attracted participants from more than 170 countries and regions, with over 6.5 million images submitted to date.

For its tenth anniversary, “A Heartwarming World” focuses on the emotions of everyday life and brings the perspectives of photographers from around the world to an international stage.

À Paris Photo 2026, les HUAWEI XMAGE Awards célèbrent leur dixième anniversaire avec l’exposition « A Heartwarming World ».

XMAGE est la marque de photographie de Huawei. S’appuyant sur des technologies avancées en matière de logiciels, de matériel, de puces et de services cloud, associées à une vision esthétique singulière, elle développe des expériences visuelles qui explorent toute la puissance de l’image. Cette année, XMAGE dévoile « Now is Your Shot », une invitation faite aux créateurs à saisir l’instant et à porter, à travers leur objectif, un regard unique sur le monde.

Dédiés à la photographie mobile Huawei, les XMAGE Awards réunissent des images réalisées par des utilisateurs Huawei à travers le monde. Depuis leur création en 2017, ils ont rassemblé des participants issus de plus de 170 pays et régions, avec plus de 6,5 millions d’images soumises à ce jour.

Pour leur dixième anniversaire, « A Heartwarming World » place au cœur de sa démarche les émotions qui traversent le quotidien et offre aux regards de photographes du monde entier une visibilité sur la scène internationale.

☆ At Paris Photo 2026, Galería La Cometa presents a solo show by Colombian artist Miguel Ángel Rojas, coinciding with his retrospective at Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid.

Made in Bogotá in the 1970s, these photographs document clandestine encounters between men in some of the city’s most iconic cinemas.
Drawn from the artist’s studio archive, the presentation brings together largely unseen photographs, including prints made from original negatives and unique silver gelatin prints.

☆ À Paris Photo 2026, la Galería La Cometa présente un solo show de l’artiste colombien Miguel Ángel Rojas, en parallèle de sa rétrospective au Museo Reina Sofía de Madrid.

Réalisées à Bogotá dans les années 1970, ces photographies documentent des rencontres clandestines entre hommes dans certains des cinémas les plus emblématiques de la ville.
Issues des archives de l’atelier de l’artiste, les photographies présentées sont en grande partie inédites. La sélection comprend des tirages réalisés à partir des négatifs originaux et des tirages uniques aux sels d’argent.

Partner exhibition: “PINK RIBBON PHOTO AWARD by ESTÉE LAUDER COMPANIES”

At Paris Photo 2026, the PINK RIBBON PHOTO AWARD by ESTÉE LAUDER COMPANIES celebrates its 15th edition.

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime. Created in France in 2012 by Estée Lauder Companies France with the Ruban Rose Association, the award uses photography to raise public awareness about breast cancer.

For its 15th edition, the award takes on a new name, increases its prize money and expands internationally. Its mission remains to encourage early detection, advance research and open up conversations through photography.

À Paris Photo 2026, le PINK RIBBON PHOTO AWARD by ESTÉE LAUDER COMPANIES célèbre sa 15e édition.

Une femme sur huit est touchée par un cancer du sein au cours de sa vie. Créé en France en 2012 à l’initiative d’Estée Lauder Companies France avec l’Association Ruban Rose, le Prix fait de la photographie un outil de sensibilisation du grand public à la lutte contre les cancers du sein.

Pour sa 15e édition, le Prix change de nom, augmente ses dotations et s’ouvre à l’international. Sa mission reste d’encourager le dépistage précoce, de faire progresser la recherche et de libérer la parole par l’image.

↘️ In this episode, Bruno Ceschel, Founder of reflects on the notion of the “Artist’s Book”.

According to him, since the 1960s the artist’s book has challenged the boundaries between image, object and artwork.
Bruno Ceschel traces this history and its renewed energy within independent publishing and self-publishing.

Partner exhibition: “Librairie Éphémère”

At Paris Photo 2026, Louis Vuitton Éditions celebrates the tenth anniversary of Fashion Eye, its collection of photography books dedicated to travel, with two new releases.

The first presents previously unseen archive photographs by American photographer George Hoyningen-Huene, taken in Bangkok and its surroundings in 1937. The second turns to contemporary Shanghai through the work of Chinese photographer Liu Shuwei, who photographs everyday life in a city where past and present meet.

Since its creation, Fashion Eye has approached cities, regions and places through the particular gaze of fashion photographers.

À Paris Photo 2026, Louis Vuitton Éditions célèbre les dix ans de Fashion Eye, sa collection d’albums photographiques consacrée au voyage, avec deux nouvelles parutions.

La première dévoile des photographies d’archives inédites du photographe américain George Hoyningen-Huene, réalisées à Bangkok et dans ses environs en 1937. La seconde porte un regard contemporain sur Shanghai à travers le travail du photographe chinois Liu Shuwei, qui photographie le quotidien d’une ville où passé et présent se rencontrent.

Depuis sa création, Fashion Eye propose de découvrir des villes, des régions et des territoires à travers le regard singulier de photographes de mode.

[Ville de Paris – Institutional Partner]

Partner exhibition: “Department for the Preservation of Paris’s Photographic Heritage (D3P)”

At Paris Photo 2026, the City of Paris’ Department for the Preservation of Paris’s Photographic Heritage (D3P) will focus on the deterioration of photographs, as part of the Bicentenary of Photography.

The exhibition highlights both the fragility of the photographic medium and its materials and its remarkable longevity when properly preserved.

Photographs from the D3P educational collection, the Bibliothèque historique de la Ville de Paris (BHVP) and the Fonds d’Art contemporain – Paris Collection will illustrate different forms of deterioration. These range from damage affecting early processes such as daguerreotypes and ambrotypes to alterations found in contemporary photographs.

The presentation also pays tribute to the professionals who have worked for the past fifty years to preserve photographic heritage.

Exposition partenaire : « Département pour la préservation du patrimoine photographique parisien (D3P) »

À l’occasion du Bicentenaire de la photographie, le Département pour la préservation du patrimoine photographique parisien (D3P) de la Ville de Paris consacrera sa présentation à Paris Photo 2026 aux altérations de la photographie.

L’exposition mettra en lumière la fragilité du médium et de ses matériaux mais aussi sa remarquable longévité lorsqu’il est conservé dans de bonnes conditions.

Des photographies issues de la collection pédagogique du D3P, de la Bibliothèque historique de la Ville de Paris (BHVP) et du Fonds d’Art contemporain – Paris Collection permettront de découvrir différents types d’altérations. Elles concernent aussi bien les procédés anciens, comme les daguerréotypes et les ambrotypes, que les photographies contemporaines.

La présentation rendra également hommage aux professionnels qui œuvrent depuis une cinquantaine d’années à la sauvegarde du patrimoine photographique.
