Here is a funny story:
One day, Mr. C, unable to speak French, meets Ms. H, who speaks basic French, and is attempting to improve her French.

Mr. C asks Ms. H, “you can already speak French, why would you want to improve? You should be grateful that you can already speak French because I cannot, how dare you asking for more?” Ms. H smiles and answers, “you wouldn’t get it.”
France is a symbol of Liberté, Égalite, Fraternité, a symbol of basic civil rights.

Now replace “ability to speak French” with “Autonomy”, or “Freedom of speech”, replace “Mr. C” with “Chinese”, replace “Ms. H” with “Hong Kong people”...I know you get it.

Hongkongers were promised with at least 50 years of autonomy (aka “One country, two system”) as cited in the Basic Law when handed over to the CCP by the British in 1997. But guess who don’t bother keeping their words?

Why did Orpheus turn?
Perhaps Eurydice mattered more to Orpheus as a memory than as a person.
Indeed, if the two of you were destined to be separated , perhaps the memory of her is the only thing that you can hold onto forever. @ Paris Bercy

Covid-19 took so many things and people away from us.
The pain is unbearable but we have to stand strong and stay in union against this historical pandemic.
Be selfless, show more love, and learn to appreciate the little things happening around there.
This drawing is inspired by all the secondary school students who are currently taking the diploma exam HKDSE during this hard time, with all the injustice happening around them and lingering threats from the Wuhan virus.
If you are a 2020 DSE taker and happen to see this, remember, regardless of how scared you might be, do your best. You are a fighter and you are capable of overcome the hardships. You have come this far, it’s your time to shine.
