It’s almost been a month since 𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘥𝘦𝘯 4 at ’s house in Singapore.

Fallen Sardines (2024) by is a brilliant meditation on the dissolution of the collective consciousness. The abstracted sardines, drifting downwards, symbolize the fragility of society as it slowly unravels.

Fallen Sardines and other works were placed in significant collections in Singapore. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to experience Nani Wijaya’s debut solo exhibition. Your presence made it even more meaningful.

In the fourth edition of 𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘥𝘦𝘯, we presented ’s debut solo exhibition at ’s beautiful home. With raw, expressive brushwork, Nani’s pieces like “Nocturnal Rhythm 1” and “Nocturnal Rhythm 2” explore movement and visceral connection through three stages — entangled bodies, one body searching for another, and bodies floating in rough motion.

Our gratitude to all who visited the exhibition, with special mention to the .vous and communities.

With “Flesh and Bone” by tells a story through its impasto layers: soft pink tones of ‘flesh’ speak to the warmth of life, while the boldly applied limestone paste of ‘bone’ carries the weight of mortality. This study in contrasts is a delicate dance between life and death, vitality and decay.

𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘥𝘦𝘯 would have not been possible without the gracious support, warmth and generosity of our hostess and her family. Thank you to all who visited for its fourth edition.

In anticipation of International Women’s Month, this fireside chat—held alongside the 𝘙𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘴, 𝘙𝘢𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘴 exhibition—explores the power of representation and creative resistance. The featured artworks in this post are by Liu Hsin-Ying , a female artist represented by Stella’s gallery, whose works defy traditional artistic norms through a distinctly feminine, playful abstraction, encouraging emotional engagement over logic. Discover how nonconformism can reshape our visual and cultural paradigms by joining us for this panel.

stands before her painting “Elevated Body”, offering a visitor a profound reflection on the
intricate relationship between the human form and memories embedded within. Through delicate
brushwork, masterful composition and a muted but striking palette of natural indigo dye, the artist
speaks of the shadows beyond existence: “The shadow is occurring because of our time-bound
existence. I am trying to capture that feeling, and that’s when everything slows down.”

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to for graciously opening her private
residence for 𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘥𝘦𝘯: Nani Wijaya, creating a refined space to debut the artist’s work in Singapore.

𝘙𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘴, 𝘙𝘢𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘴 invites viewers to explore rebellion as a transformative force, not simply
one of destruction. The exhibition features a monochromatic trio of works: Ronald Ventura’s “Untitled (Minnie Skipping Rope)” on the left, Eduardo Enrique’s “Self-Portrait” in the center, and Ventura’s bold “Pop Daddy” on the right. Juxtaposed together, these three pieces challenge societal norms of popular culture and consumption through resistance and play.

Curated by and supported by .sg, this exhibition encourages reflection on the vital role
of dissent in shaping both individual lives and the larger societal landscape.

Nocturnal Rhythm 1 captures the essence of movement through three stages: entangled bodies; one body searching for the memory of another; and finally, bodies floating in rough motion. Through layered, expressive brushstrokes, Wijaya explores melancholy and connection, evoking darkness through the rhythm of her brush and the depths of emotion.

On the occasion of ART SG and Singapore Art Week, Metis Art and proudly present ’s works in the fourth volume of 𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘥𝘦𝘯.
