HOUSE OF THE FUTURE

This project reinterprets the Emirates family home with an innovative, high-quality, and sustainable typology, inspired by the local genius loci and climate challenges. The design features a compact central volume combined with a distinct modular vaulted ceiling system that cantilevers to shade the façades, creating a modern image with vernacular "memory." The prototype aims to be an affordable and beautiful "passive house", utilizing strategies like the earth-to-air heat exchanger and natural ventilation for climate
resilience.
