As the title implies a question iconography is dealing with subjectivity and trust. Of course roses havn ' t been considered very often as beings capable of making decisions. Imagination however allows supposing such mental capacity.

The human gaze on a flower by asking ' Do roses like being represented in image...? ' changes. Seeing a flower as a b e i n g with emotions means giving up domination by subjectivity, offering a visual exchange we are knowing from portraiture art.
