This Friday, 10 April, ’s Satyagraha will be presented at the Palais Garnier, marking its entry into the repertoire of the Opéra national de Paris.
Running from 10 April to 3 May 2026 at the Palais Garnier, the work will be brought to life by a creative team led by Ingo Metzmacher, conducting, with staging and choreography by Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber. The visual universe is shaped by Christian Friedländer (set design), Wojciech Dziedzic (costumes), and John Torres (lighting), with dramaturgy by Jacob Mallinson Bird and chorus direction by Ching-Lien Wu.
Together, they revisit Glass’s hypnotic opera through a contemporary lens, blending music, movement, and stage design into a powerful and immersive experience.
