This Tuesday, 14 April, works by Judith Weir will be presented at the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris.

The program features three world premieres: God be gracious, Eternel est son amour, and Mass for Notre-Dame, highlighting the composer’s contemporary approach to sacred choral music.

This Friday, 10 April, ’s Satyagraha will be presented at the Palais Garnier, marking its entry into the repertoire of the Opéra national de Paris.

Running from 10 April to 3 May 2026 at the Palais Garnier, the work will be brought to life by a creative team led by Ingo Metzmacher, conducting, with staging and choreography by Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber. The visual universe is shaped by Christian Friedländer (set design), Wojciech Dziedzic (costumes), and John Torres (lighting), with dramaturgy by Jacob Mallinson Bird and chorus direction by Ching-Lien Wu.

Together, they revisit Glass’s hypnotic opera through a contemporary lens, blending music, movement, and stage design into a powerful and immersive experience.

This Thursday, 9 April, Tan Dun’s Contrabass Concerto : Wolf Totem will receive its French premiere at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique.

The work will be performed by Maria Chirokoliyska, with the Orchestre National de France, conducted by the composer himself. On the same evening, Prokofiev’s iconic Peter and the Wolf will be performed, with Thibault de Montalembert as narrator.

On 17 and 18 December, at the , the vocal ensemble and conductor will present a staged concert of ’ minimalist work, ‘Another Look at Harmony’ (Part 4). For this performance, they will be accompanied by organist Yoan Héreau.

Fifty years after its creation, this hypnotic work, a bridge between Gregorian chant and repetitive music, is staged with unique visuals and scenography by Céline Diez and Clément Debailleul, with lighting by Elsa Revol.
